I was honestly surprised, looking back, just how serious this show kept its tone. There are hardly sparse bits of comedy here and there, much more focused on plot & tension. It's an absolutely incredible show, but it doesn't really feel aimed at kids. This was much more in line with Adult Swim than a Cartoon Network. I wish Marvel would do more with this kind of stuff.

I think the biggest problem with making a kid’s cartoon about Wolverine is just that: you’re trying to make a kid’s cartoon about Wolverine. One of the most brutal characters in all of comics who’s thing is ripping his enemies to shreds with his razor sharp claws, and he barely gets to use them.

a man just came back from buying the X-MEN LEGENDS Collection for the 2nd time sees this video appearing and says to himself HEY BUB , LOVE MY WOLVY' But still i wander WHY IN THE NAME OF X-MEN THE WORLD HAVEN'T GOT AN X-LEGENDS 3 YET???????? WTF

I hate how in a lot of recent portrayals of X-Men, Cyclopes is shown as a douchebag. Especially when he is in a weird love triangle with Wolverine. The love triangle with Jean is also a weird thing, that in my opinion, is just plain weird that Marvel keeps pushing in cartoons and movies these days. Would Wolverine really fall for a random girl who would canonically still be in high school, or barely out of high school? X-Men Evolution did it best, with how they made Wolverine's character a father figure teacher who helped the students at Xavier's school as a wise teacher and kind of counselor, especially for Scott. It developed Scott as more than a jealous or traumatized douche who constantly fought with Logan. And Jean had more personality and depth than the hot psychic that the two main male leaders were fighting over. I mean if they wanted Wolverine to have a love interest, I am sure there are plenty others to add in or have him be attracted to. For crying out loud, the Silver Samurai was in this list, Marika and his relationship would have been far more interesting to pursue.
